Ran at hmp tonight
I ran the truck at hmp tonight.....overall it was a good experience for the first time out there in the truck. Ran a best of 9.66 @ 73.51 mph, with an average around 9.72. I feel there's another couple of 10ths left in her even on the stock 22's partly because my 60ft times were all in the 2.2 range. I feel like I should be able to get those down to or below 2.0. I also feel this truck really needs a tune. It pulls hard until it shifts into second then it falls on its face. I think this is due to the transmission shifting at 4900 rpm, when it should be shifting around 5400 to stay in the powerband. Anyway, here's the info from the 9.66. Figure it's a good start. Getting it dyno'd tomorrow and going to head to lone star in sealy to run a full 1/4 pass.
60ft. 2.26
330ft. 6.29
1/8th 9.66
MPH 73.51
60ft. 2.26
330ft. 6.29
1/8th 9.66
MPH 73.51

I don't know what the conversion is, not to mention that the blower is helping more further down the track than in the first 330ft. I've always heard you add about 4.5 seconds to the 1/8th time to get what it would run in the 1/4. Which would be around 14.5. I'm headed to lone star in sealy tonight to run it a 1/4 to see what it'll do. I'm on my way out the door to get it dyno'd, so I'll find out horsepower numbers today too.

I originally didn't post that to make fun of you, but the reality of the situation is that you've never been to the track before(or very little), the heat hurts a great deal, and I think you are expecting too much out of your truck.
Also the 4.5 second rule doesn't apply. Faster and slower cars take more/less time to drive the last 1/8th mile of the track. 4.5 seconds just isn't near accurate enough.
