Before turbo:
60' 2.509
330 6.883
1/8 10.374
MPH 70.21
1000 13.398
1/4 15.923
MPH 89.59

After turbo @6psi:
60' 2.429
330 6.379
1/8 9.559
MPH 78.21
1/4 14.515
99.68

The truck pulls really strong but 1/4 time is slower then i expected. Im thinking the 20's and 3.23 are really killing me off the line.
Yea, the 20's + gearing is great for gas milage, but sucks for exceleration. 3:73 will help a bunch. Keep the 6 psi until you have the new gears. HIway gears, and lots of boost means lots of load on all parts, tranny, engine driveshaft.

8mph by the 1/8 is not bad,
and 10mph by the 1/4 is showing the truck can run much quicker just get the 60 down.
BTW how much boost did you launch with?

J/K man, I've seen a whole lot of 10sec threads lately LOL.

Looks like you have a couple of things to change and you'll have a stout truck. Good luck man!
10's for sure he did, 10+more mph. LOL just playing with you. I do tend to get a little excited about customers running good. All in all nice first outing and conrads.

The 3.23s will work fine. A higher stall will do more for the 60' than gears.

My truck is way faster with highway gears than it was with 4.56's. Ton's of engine torque with steep gears just equals traction problems with 2wd street tire truck. With a turbo engine, you don't need a lot gear to get out of the hole. Higher gears make it easier to build boost on the line as well and couple that with a good purpose built converter and you can rip out of the hole with out shocking the tires too much.

What stalls are yall running with a turbo? Believe me i cant wait to bump it up to 10 psi, but thats gonna have to wait till around xmas time next year when i can get a better trans. Also i dont know how accurate it is but the instant mpg in the truck is telling me im getting around 22-23 mpg on the highway, i didnt get a turbo for mpg but its still nice to know...

4.56 are for sure no highway gear. IT will still come down to exceleration at the 6psi. The 373 will be quicker then the 323, plus with no other mods the tranny does not need any more load then it currently has.

I've always heard that turbos like load, so staying with the lower (numerically) gear might actually be better. I'm sure there's a point at which you could have too low of a gear in it, but I don't think the 3.23's are hurting you as much as the converter and rim/tire setup.

Congratulations on the Trick setup, I think it may be the nicest complete kit on the market currently and has TONS of potential. I wanted to share my times with you so that you can see what I gained from different mods. Hope this helps and again congrats!
