It just spun.... When it got out of the hole and went, it WENT!!!!
Nothing was really rushed that blew up Lance, the air changed on me and it went a little lean. We'll see how it goes together this time. This ole motor had been subjected to some pure hell.... I was prepared for it.

I can't blame it on the tune, its my fault for not adding a little fuel. Should have anyway regardless of the air.
I still drove it over 100 miles at 75mph loaded down with all my track bs.... It runs, just losing oil pressure, making a hell of a racket, and sprays for mosquitoes everywhere it goes these engines are amazing IMO, broke piston and it still got me home with no real issues.

damn sucks to hear this Ben, i imagine it would of had that 11sec pass if it would of hold till the end.... so im guessing them new bars didnt do no good? is there any adjustments you can make to them to tune them in? cant wait to see what it will do with the new setup!

Well I don't think it was the way the suspension was setup that caused it to spin... The track was just slick as hell... And I honestly think the car ahead of me dripped some crap... No excuses though. Once its back together ill see about adjustments. I had them built with opposite threaded rod ends so I can adjust the length/preload. I just ran them as is just to see... I don't think I got near enough heat in the slicks either.

I drove on a broken piston for a year and a half. It'll spray oil and be down on power, but you can still drive it. Depending on where it broke, your cylinder walls might be fine too.
What was your race weight? Your spinning might be pinion angle related. What angle did you wind up with? I thinkg a little preload on those long bars will go a long way.
