Default Is this right for a 2004gmc 5.3?

I just got a 2004 gmc with the 5.3 Its a ecsb, and has 17in dinali wheels. Its got a 4in cai, flowmaster muffler, 3.73, and a street tune with all torque management taken out. it only ran a 10.45 at 69 mph in the 1/8! I was pretty disapointed....

spinning??? thats a joke right..... off idle if i stomp the throttle it wont break the tires. it just goes. My 60ft was 2.48.. my et was 10.45 at 69.56mph.

weather was about 85-88 deg

my 02 chevy ecsb with 3.42 gears, stock rims and tires, 4in cai, and nothing else ran 10.20's and 30's at 70-71 mph

my 04 has my mods listed above in my previous post and runs slower. I just dont get it. I also have a corvette servo in the trans as well....

I wonder if the tune is off or something. I have heard of people just having the torque management taken out and picking up 3 tenths in the 1/8th

I am going to go back ans see if they can check out the tuning that was done to see whats up....i figured it would run about 10.0s to 10.10 or so with the tune in it with my other small mods

That's a terrible 1/8 mile time and 60' for your truck. What size tires do you have? What RPM does it shift at? I'm willing to bet your tune is the problem.

I did similar times in a RC stepside but was spinning like crazy. It is bone stock(0 Mods) but I just bought some aluminum 16's and will be getting some MT 28x11.5x16 for the track to get a real baseline.

my truck wont spin the tires at all.. even if I tgry to power brake it it wont barely spin them. its got some 17in dinali wheels on it, but they are not that big in my opinion. Its not like I got some 20's on there. the truck shifts at 5800 or so. in your opinions what should the truck be running with my mods?
