S480 waking up boys... NPB 6.4s@113
Well looks like this little S480 is going to come to life hard in the 20+ psi area. Tonight at my local hole in the wall strip, it was everything I could do to get the track to hold 20/21psi. Drove truck to and from track like always with slicks on tonight because I was lazy.
Made 3 attempts and I got 1 to bite pretty well. I tucked in behind a big tire car and let her eat. Leaving at 3600/10psi, she spun just a hair mid first gear, 50 feet out or so and grabbed quickly. After that the horses were free lol. Logs showed 6400 shifts. One day I'll man up and walk her out to 7k.
Next up is some new slicks as these don't even have wear dots lefts..
I'm feelin some 1/4 mile fun with some new tires soon...

Kyle on the street I still like HP, so i'm really never below 15psi.. That means 60-70MPH+ it will hook on the NT05's. Below that it's all about pedal control.
Thanks Oak, I agree man. Get her on some new shoes and cool air, she should go 9s@138-139... Once I get that, it's bottle time and more boost to see where it goes.
Oww, and since I wanted to shed some light on the LStech guys about this still being a real truck, I will share for my PT.Net guys. This is certainly still a full blown street truck. It needs to pull Boat/Booty/& MPH.. When that gets old, I'll buy a race car.
