Default Silverado at the track. Gopro video!

Got my truck out to the track again a few weeks ago. Best run of the night was a 13.28 at 102. Im ready to get some tires under this thing and see what it can do. I ended up hurting the g80 so now its time for an upgrade!!!!!!! Enjoy!

What are your exact mods? It looks like you run on street tires and you didn't slip on the start at all. What was your 60' time? Do you have any pictures of the time slip itself?

Had the stock heads cleaned up and bigger stainless valves put in, cam, ported intake and throttle body. 4000+ stall circle d converter, long tubes, x pipe, dynomax bullets, cold air kit. I do not have any pics of the time slip right now. I think the 60' was a 1.93. I am on street tires. I just have to leave really easy to get it to hook. It spins a little but not too bad if your easy on it.

I am looking at getting either a Detroit locker or a Yukon grizzly locker.
Also 4.10's. Either Yukon or motive gears. Thoughts????

I ran my stock 10 bolt for 3 years before it gave up (but had added 410 gears). The gears and some slicks will drop your time drastically.

Im gonna try to run it for awhile. I would think that with some good stuff it should hold up. Did you have problems with yours or just decide to upgrade? What did you end up putting in? Your truck put down some nice numbers!

I ran it till the limited slip died. It still drove fine, but only had single traction.

I went with Tru-Trac. It's been good, but I recently had issues with it...see thread from a couple months ago. We took pictures and define the problem with them.

I looked at the tru-track but I have seen a lot of posts about them having issues lately. I know a lot of guys run them but I wanna put something in there and not have to worry about it for awhile. I would think a locker should hold up for awhile. I only really drive it on the weekends and at the track so im not so worried about street driving. Thought about a spool but I would think that would be a lot of stress on it on the street.

How in the heck are you managing a 1.9x 60 with a 4k converter on street tires?!?!? I can't get my 3600 to hook at all without sticky tires
