hopefully this week at atco was like last. there were not many people there. on saturday half the cars were LS powered. krazy house had their ctsv going 10.4x another dude with all motor zo6 goin 10.0x annyyyyway i just ordered wheels and tires, next year i can always change up the wheels and i went with the straight slicks because i wont drive them on the road. id be tempted to just leave dr's on all the time and kill them fast. and yeah ill go heads up with your boy. just get to the track early they closed the lanes at 3:30

i didnt realize there was no t-brakes available for you guys. 1.44 is sick on foot brake

It is, but I just remembered he was on 28" Hoosiers. Oh well. Ive cut a 1.48 on 15" DR's. You should do well with the Hoosiers. Good luck and report back.

I love my MB 16x8.5 wheels. They tuck and work great. When the MT et streets wear out i wanna get some hoosiers.

10 in wide rim would be cool if they tuck. I wont run something that sticks out insanely and looks stupid.

Thanks for first posting up about them and getting back to me the other day. Yeah I dont like the stick out. but if I can find decent priced wheel halves I'll make my own centers but I can't find wheel halfs for less then 300 a wheel

The best 60' was a 1.57 but that was a one time thing and was when I was only pushing ~11#. Depending on track prep, I could consistently run mid-high 1.6x with a little bit of tire spin when I was making less power than now. For direct comparison sake, a few weeks ago at STS I cut a 1.60 on the 9.5" wheels Friday night before mishap made me swap the tires back to the stock wheels. Saturday the best 60 I cut all day was a 1.71 with a lot of mid-high 1.7x. I must add though, the biggest advantage of the wider wheels is the top end stability. I was able to run more air to get the same footprint thus reducing the sway on the big end of the track.

I figured I'd come back and touch on things here. I picked up the mb wheels 8.5" wide. Ran the tires at 15# cut a 1.67 60ft. You feel it sway around but its not horrible. It actually floats the whole way down the track not just top end. Otherwise I'm really happy with the combo and they got me to my goal
