I must need to wind this thing out more or something. I am gettin there though... . I have the same 60' times that some guys have that run low 13's. The truck was really jumping off the line nice tonight. Beat my old ET by a little more than .20. I am going to try and get a little more tuning done and see what happens. Worst case scenario is i get a slightly smaller pulley... .

It was pretty funny, you cant even hear this whipple unless your inside the truck under pretty heavy throttle. I had the HEMI guys that were out there just scratchin thier heads. They couldnt understand how a fat *** 2500HD was beatin them by half a second or better. They would come over and ask me what i had in that thing, I would say, "oh, its just a V8". I assume they had to know something was up.

Naturally everything i was paired up against was louder than me, so you couldnt hear the blower from the outside either, although its tough to hear anyway. I am definately getting addicted to this stuff!

A shift kit for that Allison might do it, if it is shifting really slow.

seems to be shifting pretty good. If by "slow" you mean "Smooth", then yes it shifts very smooth. Im sure a shift kit would not hurt though. I wonder if they sell any kits for this allison that dont cost $5000? I have seen the Suncoast kits and they are big money, more than i spent on the blower.

Im gonna guess the problem is your shifting. You truck is shifting a lot lol.... Since your redline is much lower than ours you are going into 4th when most of us are barely going into 3rd. You might see if you can safely wind it out a bit to stay in 3rd. What RPM are you at when you cross the traps and how close to the line are you hiting 4th?

Well, i only have about another 75-100' of track left when i shift to 4th. Its about 4700 when i shift, redline is 4750. The guage shows the speckled red at 4750-4900 then solid red from 4900 on. When i make the shift to 4th it drops my rpm's down to about 2800-3000rpms. When i cross the line,. it cant be much more than 3300rpm. I will try and watch more closely what the rpm's are when i cross the line this week.
