so slow
i have a buddy who has a rcsb with a 4.8 and posi 3.42 cold air intake and a tune he carried it to an 1/8 track and ran a best of 10.5 seems kind if slow to me his mph was 70 but his 60ft was 2.5 cutting a perfect light in 1st gear taking of it is like it is dead and when it hits 3000 rpms it starts pulling hard alltrough 1st 2nd and 3rd but in 1st below 3000 it sucks we ran some 9.8 trucks and 10.0 trucks from a roll of 20 and it pulls from them but from a stop it sucks any ideas

Seems a lil slow for the mods to me. Mine bone stock with a Shitmaster exhaust run a 10.4 with like a 2.6 60 ft.(best run bone stock) And that was on 20s. With a tune and some freebie mods i was cuttin 2.4 and 2.5s 60ft. running 10.1s in the 1/8th spinning. That was on a 3.42 open rearend with a tune and freebie mods. Seems like your 60 ft. is about right but the trap time is a lil slow.

those times seem a tad slow but my best suggestion would be to go to the track a few times and get about 10 runs under your belt with the truck... analyse the timeslips and go frmo there and wonrk on the aras that need help... .gears and stall converter would be a good place to start though. Once those are in, traction will most likely start becoming an issue in your 60' times.

Don't feel too bad. I ran at the track for the first time Friday night. Lousy air, But still....
60' - 2.429, 1/8 - 10.50 @ 68.6
Used 4wd - way too little traction on my balding streets!
