SSS vs L
Gotta race coming up once new mods are installed.
His; new Lightning with mods of K&N FIPK Coild Air Intake, Accufab Single blade throttle body, and a welded in magnaflow muffler.
Mine; Silverado SS with K&N FIPK II, true dual flowmaster 40s, custom tune, Yank TT3000, 160* T-stat, and a 223 225 561 571 114+3 cam and 915 springs.
Just curious of predicted results... I think I can keep up but I know them Ls are quick.

Lightnings really don't launch badly. Lots of tire. None of his mods are worth anything ET-wise, so its at best a mid 13 second truck. I have no clue what a cammed SS will run ...

Depends on the individual truck too. Some are stronger than others from the factory. Friend has a 1999 Lightning and ran a 13.63 bone stock with the only track prep of removing the tail gate. Chip, filter, MAF, and tires and it ran 12.7's. Should be a good race in any case.
