Add a cooler to keep heat down and drive like normal. Once it's locked it'll be at the proper cruising RPM
x2... I have mine to lock up at 38 mph so I can drive in 40mph zones with the converter locked. On the highway, you wouldn't know the difference. However, driving in traffic is a different story

damn that stall was pretty loose when it was in my buddies truck before you bought it lol, then again every truck is different. what did it foot brake to before???

i just installed a yank ss3600, and it foot brakes to 3000

Same here. with the Circle D I can usually climb hills at 45mph and it'll stay locked while my TCI would immediately unlock which sucked *****.
So brand does play a role in drive-ability.

suppose to be a yank st3500, but i think it was restalled since i was able to foot stall it to 3600. dave said it was a 4000-4200
