I may bring out this mustang I just bought yesterday. Well, traded my 97 chevy truck for it, a 95 gt. It has a 303 cam, headers, msd, gt40 ported/polished heads, 5 speed,4.11s,bigger Maf,roller rockers, centerforce clutch. The tires suck on it though, spins too easy.

My GM service manual shows 140 lb/ft on the lugnuts. I'd put some blue loctite on too...but I'm just **** like that.

Can't wait to see your times with the slicks and 4l80e. I really hope you can get some runs with just the 4l80e so we can compare the 4l80e and 4l60e

yeah, me too. Hoping that my lead on a low mileage 80 pans out this week. Sounds like a good deal if it goes down.

BTW - hand tight was a joke.... I use a TQ wrench, but no loc tite.

I'm going to try to make it out there.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my G80 replaced with a TrueTrac before then. It started acting up a few weeks ago at SCR but worked as it should after that. Went to SCR last night, tried to make a pass.....tried a little burn out and clunk, clunk, clunk while spinning just the rear passenger side tire. If I don't get the TrueTrac installed, I'll take the wife's '07 Camry SE V6, I'm curious to see what it will do in the 1/4.

Slap that tt in 383, I wanna see some trucks running, lol. I know what ya mean tho, always wondered what my wife's 08 Altima 3.5SL would do. Pulls pretty damn hard IMO.

Like I said, we'll have the GTP out there, let's make this the clash of the family sedans!!

I'm getting excited about this, I'm on spring break this week, so between working and doing crap around the house, the truck is going on a serious diet.
