I have a Grudge race with a Titan in the 1/4 mile & all I have is Nelson Tune & UPD Cold Air & Hooker Aerochamber muffler.

He swears he is going to wax me. My best time is a 15.1 @ 92 almost got 93. Do I have a shot & bustin this imports *** or what?

 

He should be around a mid 15. Tuned they can hit 14's but if he's bone stock you should have him without much problem

 

Long as its not an 07 with more than 6k miles on it.

He will have a Cold Air & Tune from what I am hearing. He ran a mid 15 last time at the track. But his trap was 88 in the 1/4 & his 60ft was a 2.5. So looks like it will be a drivers race for sure.

Just curious. The best I could get just leaving my truck in drive was a 15.2 @ 91, But when I would put it in 1st gear & change in to second at 6000 with the Tilt Shift I dropped a full tenth & gained 1 mph in the 1/4.

no, but you need to get your shift points bumped up on your tune if it quicker that way.

 

If he has Uprev tunning your in trouble

 

I work at the nissan plant in Canton, Ms that makes the titan and i will say stock for stock the nissan wins, but with a few bolt ons and gears the LS1 style trucks come alive and a "bolt on" titan wont stand a chance..

 

Pull your spare off and run 1/4 tank. Also, do a dead stop to have a greater chance in winning. Get it on video and make camera person ride w/ titan, you will win, haha.
