Default Stock Joe Gibbs ECSB 1/8th

Last time at the track I ran a best of a 9.20 @ 77. I was pretty happy with that but I wanted a little more...

Went back last night and first pass was a 9.35, 9.21 with 40 psi in the tires.. Dropped it to 25 and ran a 9.13 followed by my best of the night and my new PB in this truck.

Truck is bone stock, only mod was removing the headlight. I made a few more passes hoping for a 8.99 but couldnt pull it off... Hopefully I'll get it next time with cooler weather.

A little fun on the way to the track

Are those the factory Joe Gibbs wheels too? Thats just a little slower than my Crew cab 6.0 with a cam and no converter. I ran a 8.92 @80.xx. I probably had better weather though

Ya factory wheels. Still has the spare in the back and everything. I thought about taking it out but it would probably have hurt traction. Can't wait to go back with some better weather and hopefully get that 8.

What does your truck run in the 1/4?

I went 13.85 @ just over 98 with a very similar 2.12 60' time

A tune would help you out a ton. The factory shift points are really low. Bolt on mods with a tune and slightly smaller pulley would get you over 100 MPH easy running probably a high 12 if you can get traction.

Best bang for your buck would be long tubes, a smaller pulley to bring boost back up, and a tune. Those mods alone with slicks could honestly net you a 12 second run.
