The rear is stock. We broke the locker first pass. We pulled it out and welded it up. After the 9.27 pass, we gave it a little more. Broke the axle. We are waiting for some axles from Mark Willaims. Trying to put it in the 8's.

Wow... I had no doubt you guys would get that thing solidly in the 9s but knocking on 8s?!?!?! impressive just doesn't do it justice.

Sounds like a good application for a Detroit Locker to go with those axles. Am I correct that it's a 7.0L running up to 7400rpm?

nice time really nice times! what is the run down and i know you are sparying a dry shot but how much,and when.i was told that the trailblazer was 4 link,i am not saying it is i was told this please correct me if i am wrong.

The truck has a 427 LSX, 2 stages wet, stock style suspension which is considered a 4 bar setup not really a 4-link, stock rear end with detroit locker, 4,625 pounds with driver, full interior and full cage.

so its a 8.5" 10 bolt? Do you think with built axles and maybe a spool or beefier differential it'll suffice? Or is the ring/pinion - housing design flawed for such an application?

Pretty sure those came with 9.5in 14 bolts
