Wouldn't u like to try it @70*? I could be wrong but I thought for every 10* drop in temp, power goes up 1%. So, a 300 hp bump would be 9hp. I'll take that.

What I won't take. You guys in TX can take your 100* days & keep em. I saw awhile back, 7 or 8 days in arow @ 100+. But, I'm not used to it either.

Lol yeah. Well I'm at the upper east corner of texas in a town called texarkana. Heat index right now as we speak is 105 and I'm out in it all day everyday. But yes I will run the truck when it cools down also. She is my DD so I try not to take her to track unless I change something.

I hear ya. I'm more particular than most. But I usually, add 1 change, dyno, track for 3 runs minimum. Problem is, last time I dynoed, I forgot what was done to truck. It was either LTs or CAI. At the time, I didn't have my Corsa on.

The CAI may've showed minimal to no gain, since previous dyno. Earlier dyno session was on a diff. day, & it wasn't 85* w/. high humidity. Anyway, the ramair part showed no difference, since ya gotta be movin. I think both CAI & CAI w/ ram were checked. Too long ago. Some scoff at the intake I picked, but it's what I have, it works, & I don't see anyone sendin me $.

At $50-100 for dyno, it's $$.
So as it stands now, I'll go to dyno (eventually) w/. that before my next mod.

Track is cheaper & more fun. I love it, but til I have $ saved for a tranny or have 1 built, I must wait for fear of the wrath of 60E.

Lol yeah. I got lucky and bought a nice tranny from Bigtex on here a while back. I have dynoed my truck twice but there was noone there to lock in third or lock convertor so numbers sucked *****. I have just came to the conclusion that my truck isn't a dyno queen but loves the street and track.

Cool beans on tranny. I'd prefer STREET WARRIOR to a dyno drone. Anyday.

I don't need to be the fastest, just want truck to be fun. Tho faster than the next guy is a +.

Well wanted to update you guys. Finally got my upd intake in and installed. Made a good hard pull to see if it helped and broke timing chain. Good thing I haven't installed the prc heads till yesterday. Got everything done last night, truck is pulling hard as hell. Put it on a dyno today just to look at a few things and afr went to 15 before even hitting 5 grand so I know I have alot of room to grow. Torque jumped straight to 340 as soon as he stabbed the throttle and stayed flat so that's a plus. Also all they way to dallas today iat's never got over 10 degrees over ambient temp. Going to track friday to get tuned and see what she can do.

Yes but most of the time you actually pick up power adding fuel.
