Default Thinking about switching to 26" slick, any opinions??

Well i really don't have a problem hooking with 28" slick now, so i wondering if i switched to 26" slick gain me some 60ft and quicker ET?

Thinking about going with Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Tire 26'' x 11.5'' - 16''LT

lemme know if you go through with this...
i just got brenden some 275/40/17 555rs for 150 a pop brand new through work
i think 26x11.5x16 et street isnt much more IICR

I think you should save your money for an LQ4 shortblock.

Hmmmm, nope, nothing wrong with this motor, it does just fine.. Besides i am kinda done with the truck for awhile, i want to build a project vehicle (67-72 Chevy truck)...

at what rpm and gear do you currently cross the traps? Dropping to a smaller diameter may force you into another gear, not good, or bring your rpms up at the trap, good.

Well i rarely get to go to the 1/4 mile track so i am not sure on the rpm... I normally go to the 1/8th and i usually shift a little bit before the traps... So usually i just keep it in 2nd rev up to 7000-7100ish rather than shifting into 3rd...
