The longtubes and a retune gained good, went from a 16.3 to a 15.1. Now I believe the normal gain is about a half second in the 1/4. This engine has responded well to mods.

Wonder what it would run with some better traction? Never thought I would need some drag radials or slicks for this thing with these few mods.

Thanks fellas, I think with the loudmouth exhaust it sounds pretty good going down the track. Some guys at work swear that it has an aftermarket cam in it, but its all stock.

What are others running with a 4.8 ext cab with the same mods I have, intake, headers, exhaust, tune? Just curious.

You've got a 4.8 freak! My 4.8 was an absolute turd, even with the tune.
