just wondering how much you guys think timing hurts hp on these trucks? i went 8.63 at 78.47 in the 1/8 at 21 degrees of timing .had the nitrous tune in it but had the kit off of the truck.my tuner couldnt change it before i went to the track.how much would say 6 degrees of timing give me roughly any guesses?

every motor likes a different amount of timing. Mine is set at 23 deg. thats where it makes the most power, alot of guys running 25-26 deg. say thats best for their application. It all depends on the individual motor. Hard to say without being able to see the charts! you may gain alot, you may not gain at all.
