Default Times from tonight... puzzled!

Slip as follows;
60' : 2.213
330' : 6.035
1/8 : 9.026
MPH : 82.56
1000': 11.576

1/4 : 13.721
MPH : 104.44

Can anyone tell me why I gained 4 mph and nothing in the 1/4. I ran a 13.78 @ 100.5 last year with a 2.2 60'. Im stumped.

New mods/changes are; gt2-3 cam, tune, and built 4L80e. Where is my power going???

Thats what I was thinking, but look at the mph, it is up by 4mph. Wouldnt my hp be less?

Could the clocks been off?

How many times did you run 104mph?

I ask because often times 1 number will be off on the timeslip yet any other runs for the night are consistant.

Either way you did better than I did. Im ready to grenade my PI converter. This thing sucks ***!

J mph shows hp you gained 4 mph due to the higher amount of hp you are making. The 80e is killing you out of the hole and is sucking a little more hp than the 60e thus you times. You do have more hp do to your higher trap speed.

I thought about the 80e hurting him but his MPH is up and his 60' is the same.

J, post up everything from this timeslip then post up last years timeslip before the mods. Like ALL of it. lol

He is running the stock 80e stall I believe. If this is the case get a stall in it and you will be much better off. With the 60e and an aftermarket stall you have a higher str and also better shift recovery.

I trapped 3 runs at 104+ and 1 at 103.88 or something like that. I will post up my slip from last year when I get home. I think 1slow is right though, my truck is a dog out of the whole with the 80e.

Im thinking the next mod should be a stall and tires, we'll see though. Keep the suggestions coming...

Did you get a weight on your truck? I'm fairly excited to see you running that MPH bro!

I didnt realize you had a stock stall as well. With a stall your truck is gonna be a monster finally

2600 stall with a nice 2.5str will be nice with the close ratio of the 80e and then the help from the stall on the shift recovery your rpms wont drop more than 400 after the shifts would be sweet. Slicks???? IMO your stall is the problem you have the hp as shown by your mph but you just dont have the short time but the stall will get you there.
