Took lo-gmc out to play
Took my truck for the first time to the track last night and was happy with results. SEtup consist of a forged ls2 ported and valved 799 heads a custom grind cam from roadkill that i had used on a g8 gxp and im thinking about swapping built 4l75 is what builder called it changed planeteries and billet or harden the rest and t brake 2 step eaton posi 456s and caltracs i have a small 3200 tripple disk from circle d that is killing me but i wanted streetable and holley hi ram that is also killing me but like the look
First run off foot brake high stall 1.9 60ft 12.5@113
Second run tbrake 2step@2800 1.78 60ft 12.33@112.7
Third run tbrake 2step@2800 cutout open used vht 1.72 60ft 12.31@112.9
Didnt have time for more passes and did not take laptop to log or tweak the tune im sure it would have drop the times it is still alil rich

Thanks for comments truck only has 21k miles and most of the time garaged thats why paint is flawless. Thinking of swapping cam since it was specd out for my gxp that has l92s
Im gonna try to go to truck stop and weigh it i know it is real heavy

congrats sammy, why do you think the holley high ram is killing you? have a cam specked for it and stall and youll have a whole different monster on your hands i went holley high ram, sorry hadnt had any runs yet since im replacing the trans, im ok with sacrificing torque for rpm, reason being ill be launching on a T brake at 4500-5000 rpms
