took truck to the track
first time since cam and blower install. my last best was 14.79 before new parts and that was in 55 degree weather. last night it was 85 degrees and humid here in jacksonville nc. my best run was 14.13 at 99.4 mph with a 2.26 60ft time. i had no drag radials, i was running the stock 17" steel wheels on back with 275/60/17's and the 20's up front. no weight reduction, had speaker box with amp left in there too. the 14.13 was against a single cab viper truck , whos best run of the night was against me, and he ran a 14.22 and 98.3, close race, but i was happy the cc got him haha. the other race was against a 2010 camaro ss. i ran a 14.43 at 97mph. it was very close through the eigth mile, i spun off the line, he had a 2.1 60ft and me a 2.3 on that run. heres a vid of the that run. i was heat soaked by this point, no stall, no intercooler, no drag radials, and i had my 20" rims and tires and jack in the back for traction. haha. i was hoping for better , but it was hot and i need some things, its got 13's in it when the weather drops.

yeah, but with 80-90 degrees and no intercooler and waiting in line to race, it gets heat soaked quick, im only seeing 4 lbs of boost too, belts slipping a bit, it should run about 13.70, maybe with the drag radials on a cool day

thanks man, i really dont want to make excuses for it , but i cant help it ya know, there were 6.0 gto's running 14.2s, and newer mustangs running low 14's as well, i think the weather just sucked.

Dont get discouraged, real world numbers are usually diff. than what we think !
Your beating and hanging with cars that weigh less than you. Id be happy!
Def. get an intercooler and stall and see those times drop! One thing at a time bud!
