Just trying to see what you guys are getting stock and modified with a 4.8.
do you think a cam, header, tune and 3800 stall would net a 13.x time slip?

go to the fastest truck list and you can see where everyone with a 4.8 is at.
and with your 99 model no on the mods you listed, your hp is only 250 at the crank so about 190 maybe 200 at the wheels.

Right now the only mods to speak of are, K&N FIPK ,ported tb, 3in 3 chamber flowmaster...(really a power robber)
what would be a guess for an 1/8 mile time?
anyone know what rpm's are at cruising on the freeway with 4.10's and a big stall converter? It seems alot of you have gone that route.

I know! I know!!!
06' W/4.10's, magnaflow, CAI, tune.
Remember the 06' vs 99' has electric fans and I have no idea what else different.
At Atmore, AL today mine went 10.31@70.5mph with a 2.39 60ft. I've got a 2,200 stall that I think will wake it up nicely.

I've got a friend hitting 12.9's on his rcsb 4.8 with a 150 shot, 13.2's with his stereo system on (ported bed with 4 12" subs). His mods, after market muffler, K&N FIPK and Hypertech and of course 150 shot and I believe it's a 2001. There's another 4.8, a N/A that hit 13.5's on cool weather with cam and all the boltons, but I don't think it'll happen with just those mods you listed.
