Default track times 6/7/06 IMPORTANT!! CHIME IN

well i went to the track today and here's how i did. i'll compare it to my last run and see what u guys think.

4/2/06 spokane raceway park time | 6/7/06 wapato renegadewith 26x11.5 without the tb stall | w/28x10's slicks, tb stall
60 degree weather | 80 degree weather

| 60ft-------1.88 | 60ft-------1.771/8 ET----8.14 | 1/8 ET----8.521/8 MPH-85.21 | 1/8 MPH-79.701/4 ET---12.79 | 1/4 ET---13.431/4 MPH-105.61 | 1/4 MPH-100.34

i'm getting way better 60ft's but it was 80 degree's just dont know why im losing hell of alot of top end. does anyone know WHY???. if im running the 28's slicks with 4:10's r my gear's a 4:30's or lower im taking off better. what could make it better like before. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The TB stall causes a loss f mph in each gear.Any stall does actually. Before i stalled my truck i was clocking in at 94.00mph after my stall i run 92.87mph as the highest so far.Usually its a little lower in the 92 range.
The loss of mph in each gear cause this.Even still with lower mph numbers i had faster 1/4 times though.
The only thing i could see causing you to lose so much time is the temp. That 20degree temp change can affect you big time.
My truck has ran 3 tenths faster just from a 9 degree drop in temp. One week it was 74 degrees ran like a 15.5....way back in da day before i had several mods heh...Next week it was 65 degrees and ran a 15.2 same mods as the previous week.
My money is on that 20 degree temp differance as to why your times were so much slower.

taller tire lowers gear same as samller tire raises it. you have more gearing with the 26 then you do with the 28s.

and what do y mean by that. and i couldnt take off with 26's so everyone told me even allen nelson to go with bigger slicks or an traction bars. cuz i know with having 4:10's with the 26's i was gearing at 4:50 and with the 28's im gearing at 4:30 but with the 28's i did a way better 60ft than the 26's. but my question is would i get better top end by openning the exhaust up to straight header.

Not sure how much low end you are going to lose with a radix.

im not losing any low end just top end. i think im goin back to the 26x11.5x15's et drags not streets and see if i can see a difference cuz with the 26's my 1/4MPH is 105 so if i can pull a 1.77 i'll be running a 12.50's around the era.

well i am not going to retype all that just got erased but with the short tire and a little tire spin u will run more mph then a dry hook start.
with the little spin it puts u n a different power range all the way down the track
