track times before ls6 intake swap
went to the 1/8 last night to get some times in the heat before my ls6 intake swap. had fun but was dissapointed with my times. the heat kicked my **** here are the times.
all 1.79 60' times with one 1.80.
8.05
8.02
8.03
8.04
all high 85 mph
the slips are in the truck and its too hot out to go get them haha. hopefully i get my 1.6x 60' times back this winter losing a little more than 2mph in the 1/8 too with this heat. oh well the times were consistant enough for a good comparison. ls6 intake swap goes down this week and hopefully i can have it on the track this coming friday or sunday in the same miserable heat

You knew it would run bad compared to winter already though, it's no surprise at all really. Cold air = go fast. Hot air = well gay.
Back when my ecsb was almost stock just a few bolt ons i took it out at 73 degrees and it ran a 15.5.
Forget the mph....
took it the next week at 65 degrees and ran a 15.2.
Went back again at 73 degrees again the next week and it ran 15.5 again all night.
Heat sucks but you will have a nice comparison for the intake swap.
