The annual fall shootout for KYHP. A local forum.

No new best, too warm but several 11.80's. Wound up running a truck bracket and won it. There may have been a good pass in it had I run it out. Caught up to a 16.0 dialed in stock truck with my 11.81 dial in. Hit the brakes hard at the line to make sure I didn't break out. Still went an 11.90.

Made several passes without nitrous and I really saw the effects of the 80e there. Best I could muster was an 12.89 without the gas. Similar weather I could do pretty consistent 12.6's with the 60e.

Couple hours of test and tune passes before the bracket racing started. Think I made 4 passes and lost them all. 3 Turbo Buicks and a 911 Turbo. All in the 10's. Made a couple passes with my 11 yr old son in the truck. He was giggling like a little girl all the way down the track. He loved it.

We have some very skilled photographers attend these things. Always some nice shots of the action.

No doubt there are some performance hits going with the 80e but the peace of mind far out ways it. I've not had a hiccup one with this one. It was great running down the track and not worrying so much about the transmission exploding.

Yep, always some good photos from these things. There are literally dozens of guys walking around with camera. A lot of them professional photographers. That and the track guys relaxing the rules a bit and allowing the photographers get to some good spots for the shots.

I like that shot with the exception of my dufus looking face in the windshield.

Here are some more examples of the day.

This Porche was BAAADDD. Went 10.62 @ 132 in a pass with me. Politely crossed the line, braked and made the first turn off.

I was just talking to Kooner about that the other day. I would love to know what my truck runs blower only, but that poopy 80E down low with all of our weight just sucks the life out of it. And once you go low 11's, well...who wants to run knowing they will be in the 12's if they didn't use the gas? LOL The best with the radix I could muster was a 12.22, and that's meth and 110 gas and 25* of timing. LOL

Awesome shots and congrats on the win!

Thanks, I've put a lot of work and thought into it.

Yeah, that's it. Been a long time since I really paid attention to the tree and trying to cut a good light.

Thanks, I had been able to run some 12.20's with the blower only, meth, 93 gas and 21* timing and like 30* temps. Big hits since then are the 80e, 20" wheels and tires and the big brakes.
