iv never tried to flat foot it. its the tsp 228 228 588 588 lift on a 111lsa. i would love to have the circle d 3600 but would it actually stall to 3600? and how much of a difference would it actually make?

that cam requires a 3400 converter or bigger. what its going to do is get your cam into the sweet spot on the take off and allow the motor to start pulling on the launch vs roll a few feet then take off ya know? that 3600 should foot brake to 3500-3600 but it could probably flat foot looser which wont hurt you at the truck honestly.
let some of converter guys chime in, im still learning. all i now is with a big cam like that the 3400-3600 would work best for you.

I've had about the same experience post cam, but since I've only been on street tires I can't get on the throttle off the line. I noticed a very big difference right off the line between the stock cam and a mid 220s cam, the stock cam hit a lot harder. My stall is a 3600 but it's 10.5" and tight. If you check, most of the people running fast recommend a 4000 plus stall to get off the line and into the cam's powerband fast.

Tuning problem... If you scan the truck and put a wideband on it you'll find the problem. There is no reason with that small of a cam you lost that much low end and since you are still running the same 60', it's not the low end that is the problem either. You have a tuning problem, not a converter problem.
