Douglas being a *hitty hooking track, and this humidity and heat is what is killing you right now. You wait till bought OCT. and I bet you will drop 3 tenths. I know my truck feels completely different on a hot day compared to a cold day.

yeah i hate douglas but its the most convenient. i know its too hot right now to run a good number but it ran the 8.8 in the heat so i figured it would be a little better this time.

Consider some tires that plant before adding more converter that will give you more 60 ft headaches. Get with me and we'll work something out on going together on some truck wheel/drag combo. I'll need a stickie set up soon.

x2 bigger cam mean bigger converter. I would've gotten a cam to match my converter

More verter will equal more spinning, he already has traction issues. tires first, then verter. spinning aint winning.

when i asked everyone said i would be fine with what i had.

i definitely need some drag radials or something but i think i might have this converter sold in the next couple weeks. so iv been looking at yank, circle D, and vig. what do you all think? i would like to go with another circle D somewhere around 3600 but not sure which one. single disk? multi disk? i usually run 2-3 motor passes and 2-3 nitrous passes with 150 shot when i go to the track. any idea what would be best for me. Thanks

i was told the same thing about my old converter vs my cam. I finally had this one guy tell me to go with a 3400 and sure enough i listen and dropped .3 and gained 4 mph. I would talk to chris at circle d. He told me that if i would stay motor to get a single disk but if i was to make over 500 rwhp to go with a triple disk which i did and it gave me a badass outcome on the bottle and motor.

my opinion being around nothing but chevy guys is that for a 228/228 i would recomend a 3400-3600 stall
