Default Vids from SGMP

I went to Georgia about 3 weeks ago and never posted up. Weather was 60-70 degree area, actually hot on the track. She mached my best 60 foot time with another 1.54 sixty foot and matched my mph with 118mph even though I was in 20 degree hotter air.
I ran 11.31, 11.38, 11.40, 11.51, 11.51 & 11.44 . Great day and after adjusting a couple more times, the tranny is spot on. I am now parked in the driveway with the vaccum pump hooked up waiting on some 40 degree air and 30.40 baramoter readings.

We had some class racing and I jumped in the 11.50 class. I qualified with an 11.51, then ran another 11.51 first race, and won against a turbo S-10 (he ran 11.53). Next round they swapped me lanes and I hooked a little too much, and got tossed because of 11.44 !! That was some fun **** !!

ALSO:

Went to Gainesville with the vette today. The burnt twin clutch has been getting smoother every day, so I decided to run it before the Tex goes in.

Barometer was a lousy 29.86 all day and temp was from 50 to 54 degrees during my runs.

Started with 18psi in my ET Streets..launched at a low 4000 roughly and cut a 2.0 sixty (it tripped the beam from the clutch creeping forward before I actually launched)

1) ran a 12.5 at 86mph with 18psi...(2.0 sixty) 4000rpm launch

2) ran an 11.75 @ 86mph with 15psi....(1.69 sixty) 4000 rpm launch

3) ran a 10.928 @ 130.63mph (new best) with 14psi (1.66 sixty) 4000 rpm launch and it bogged

4) ran a 10.834 @ 128.90 mph with 14psi (1.541 sixty) 4500 rpm launch

Called it quits as the clutch was getting hot. It is still creeping forward, but with the new TIC installed, it actually shifted awesome, if I let it cool down an hour betwen runs.

Fun day in all, blue sky and 14mph gusts. I have 2 videos on my friends camera. Will post tomorrow. My previous best run was a 10.66 @ 129 in -1200 DA, so it is about right on with my 10.83 today and the lousy 1.541 sixty foot, barometer only at 29.86 and 54 degree air. Better times on the way.

Thanks.
No plans to spray till I get a fair shake at some good air and hopefully hit a ten second NA. I have quite a few bolt ons \ weight reduction things to try first. Maybe next year.

Wheels are 16" x 4.5" I believe and tires are M&H 4" x 16" skinnys. The tires are as steady at 120 mph as they are at 50 mph. I think the sway bar being off the truck gives it a little sway on the big end. Still feels pretty solid though. I wouldn't have any fear of spray and running it up to 135mph.
