and what v8 stated is true is your torque converter built for locking?
yea its a triple disk circle d.......... and i think flaco said it was around 95 i really dont know i am going to ask........but when it locks up the rpms drop pretty bad and it slows me down i can tell and feel it cause i was racing a cobra on the freeway from a 50 and we were neck to neck and when the converter would of lock the cobra would start pullin so i ma try to try the differences.......

do you have the 3c or 4c converter?

i lock mine at 95mph. it feels like another shift in my truck. i need to get my truck out some time soon and make a few passes locked and unlocked...i bet it wont make a difference at all.

I run mine unlocked FWIW trapping 112 and some change... personally, I dont think a tenth or two is worth somking the clutch in my converter LOL... I run a single disk Yank, so its not exactly built for it either. Its worth it to me to just make up the difference in a tenth or so by making more power, and keeping the converter unlocked.
