Well I finally have some money to spend on the truck.
I have already bought tail light covers, headlight covers and a new grille. I'm getting the windows tinted next week and have ordered a superchip, K&N cold air intake and have gotten a Throttle body spacer on the way. What times (1/8 and 1/4) should I expect with just those two mods. I'm hoping .5 in the 1/4 and .25 in the 1/8. Also I'm looking to buy a cam and some heads and was wondering what I need and where to get them. After I do all of this I will then purchase my STS turbo. Thanks in advance for the info.
For those that don't know my truck is a 2001 single cab 5.3 RWD.

get you a tune instead of the handheld tuner and some ET Heads and a custom grind cam from CompCams and if you are into racing do a full bolt-on on the engine if you have the cash!!!!!!!!

i dont think youll see a half a second with the intake and tb spacer. the intake may at most give you .2 and the tb spacer will give you pretty much nothing . i think they have been proven to be pretty worthless but to each his own. they will make some noist though. im with the other guys on this one a tune would help a good amount.

Ah...well then poo..lol...I know a cam and heads would help alot. I only have about 1000dollars to spend. and I already bought the cold air and Chip(Damnit) so I'm left with 500...I found a Z06 cam on ebay and was wondering how long it would take someone to install it professionally?

I think you should slow down a bit and do some reading. When it comes to cams, or other large engine mods like heads and FI, a bit of careful thought is required
Not trying to be an *** but you might save some big $$ if you do it right by learning from others. Then again, I guess it's part of the learning process
