Hitting the rev limiter is murdering his mph, his 60' is great, but niether 1/8 or 1.4 time equal the MPH or 60' he has.

you need to go back now that you think the tune is fixed and run it... could it be something like your slicks being so much shorter than your street tires making it hit the limiter on the track?? or was it doing it on the street too???

either way around, like everybody said in the last thread you posted, its foolish to run a basically stock trans with a big converter and no cooler, no guage, etc....

i still say the trans is on its way out. he already said that when the transmission is cold it shifts fine. once it heats up it starts hitting the rev limiter. signs of a transmission losing its life.

it was doing it on street tires too......my tranny aint stock...

sorry stew but it was also hot that day i was tuning it with flaco.....
