yeah i have 3:42s so its a MAJOR turd out the hole. im happy with the 14.8 an i still get 17-18 mpg in city an 20-21 on the interstate. its not a Dyno tune but i feel it is damn near perfect for a street tune. when i buy/build a bigger motor im going to dyno tune it bc it'll either have a front mount turbo, or a 150 shot, so i want it perfect.

the 220/224 .585.588 113+4 cam will it do good fo my CC or just not be enough?

should be very well rounded and extremely streetable IMO... you could go bigger but it'd probably end up being tempermental and a little harder to tune. if you plan on keeping the 5.3 in that truck for any length of time, I'd go with that and a 3200-3400 converter.

what gears? what size tire in the back? did he pull anything out?
i raced it just like i DD it. id like to drop down to a 3.5" CaI an see if there's a difference.
my last pass was 15.6 with a LTs, OR-y, Truckshop tune an a filter
the CAI, an TB was added never went to the track though. i put the stall in about 4k miles ago...just getting time to go to the track. i was expecting a 15.2-15.1 pass.
i have an UD pulley, patriot valve springs, hardened pushrods waiting to go in...
