Default went to the track today

16.0897 at 89.61mph with a 2.4xx 60 ft.
this is with a 4.8, ls6 cam, tune, k and n drop in, no cats and a corsa sport, tru trac and 4.11's on street tires shifting to my hearts content

Last season with 4.8, k and n, and corsa again no cats, open diff, 3.23's i could only run

(off the top of my head) 16.5 at 87? with a 2.6xx 60 ft.

New to come in the next couple weeks is 100 shot, and ill throw some slicks on to see what i can do.

Also just did all the research.

DA was 4600 and corrected numbers are

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
15.176 @ 95.03 MPH

Thats from http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

Dustin

EDIT / UPDATE: Post 11 shows comparison from this year to last.

Dustin, good deal. Anytime you best your previous time is great! Running at that elevation I was an easy.5 slower!

since they redid the 60 foot pad when i would go into 2nd it did a little, but once some rubber got put down i did fine, but at 90 i have a vibration BAD i think and hope its just pinion angle, but it only started happening after the gear swap

remember i have to shift haha people forget that, this ins't a car its easy to miss a gear haha. I ran a rcsb with a 5.3 exhaust and intake with and auto he ran a 15.9 at 87, i ran a 16.2 at 89. so im about right really. What is neat about the run at the 1/8th he was at 69 mph while i was at 67. Top end once im in third is good i mean i passed him in MPH. Guy was a **** talker though, told a guy i had headers, intake, tb spacer all sorts of ****. Then later i popped the hood and one guy walked by and said...that motor looks 100% stock wtf was he talking about.

But yeah the whole point. I have to 1 launch the truck, then 2 shift, Im going to call it a human factor. But also remember 4600 feet up sucks.

How about launching in 2nd? When I had a 350 in my other S10 mated with the NV3500, it moved out better in 2nd. Since 1st is so short, 2nd seemed about right and cut out one shift.
