Default what do you all think? *UPDATE*

wats up guys! just want to see what you all think...my best run in my truck is a 13.84 but with a slipping transmission, quick tune(not widebanded), and good year street tires (225/55/17)...my transmission is currently in the shop getting beefed up including servos, clutches, shift kit, the works.

as soon as my truck is ready i'm going to get it widebanded and run it with some 26' slicks hopefully. what do you all think i'm going to run with my new transmission?

*UPDATE*
i am officially also installing a tci 3600 stall. what quarter mile times should i see with my setup and slicks?

Maybe a 1/10th faster, the trans isnt going to make that big of a difference and with a stockish truck like yours a WB tune isnt going to do much, you can tell via logging with HPT looking at the mv your O2 sensors are reading.

i would have to disagree with the slipping trans part i think with a good trans ,tires, and the tune stright you'll pick up 4 tenths just when you go back to the track send me a pm before hand

If it was only slipping on the shift then there isnt much to gain there, if it is slipping through the whole gear then maybe so. I have already gone through that stage with tuning and slipping trans and I didnt gain as much as I thought I would. If you didnt spin off the line with your street tires then pretty much what you are going to gain is spinning a shorter tire. I missed the part about going to slicks the first time I read through so I would say 2-3 tenths then since I think the slicks will make the biggest difference down the track since you will have better leverage on the tire.
