*UPDATE*
i am officially also installing a tci 3600 stall. what quarter mile times should i see with my setup and slicks?

Might want to do a search in the drivetrain section, TCI is without a doubt the worst converter for our trucks. Mine was a POS as well as MANY others who have ahd problems with them. Good performance but the lock-up clutch goes out pretty quickly. Maybe you will get lucky, just trying to forwarn you about the potential problem by going with that brand.

there's a local place around here that opens up the tci and replaces the lockup clutch, few people have done it and they seem to be holding up. i'm sure he's gonna do that.
g/l with that stall and JR built tranny jorge, get r done before winter ends.

How much do they charge to swap out the lockup clutch?

oh yeah i've heard it from everyone that TCI has the reputation for making bad stalls but i'm doing wut RGVsierra is talking about. i'm getting it completly refurbished with that guy. i think he charges 150.he's done a couple of my buddies' stalls and they've came out working better than new.

Isnt that guy from Harligen or something like that? Ived heard the same and that he can also restall your stock stall to a bigger stall, if that made any sence
