Default what do you think?

whats up guys ? i had an 06 silverado ss and it was stolen so now i have an 05 GMC Sierra RCSB with an LQ9, volant cai, pacesetter lts, ORY, 3" pipe with flowmaster muffler, 3.73, dyno tune. i ran it at the 1/8 track and my best so far was 1.98 60ft. 8.70 at 80 mph. i have 28x11.5x16 et streets on stock silvy wheels. i also have a converter from yank that i havent installed its a sst 3200. what else do you guys recomend for beter ets.

yeah i know but i dont want to do a cam swap just yet. what do you guys think that converter will do to my current 8.70 time?

slicks and converter will probably knock you down to 8.2-8.3.sounds like its running pretty good for no cam or stall.

its running a little better now. when i ran that 8.70 i had my 1-2 shift set at 6000 and it would wait like a fraction of a second to shift. i took it back to the tuner and he said that it had somesort of fuel cut off at 6000 also.he readjusted and it feels beter but havent gone to the track yet. i like your truck dlt76028. i hope for a 7.9 one day.

i was thinking of adding a plate kit also but want to get the most out of it n/a first

went to the track again this past thursday. with readjusted tune, true cool 40k, and removed tail gate. ran a new pb of 8.62 at 81 mph with the same 60ft. cant wait to install that converter. maybe ill install it on monday
