what gear ecsb...video
hey guys trying to figure out what gear ratio to run. last year i ran 13.2@100mph with a 1.82 60' with 28in tall et streets and a yank pt3200 on the stock 3.42s in 90plus heat. i wanna hit twelves seems a little slow out the hole should i go 3.73s or 4.10s. im hoping gear change and cooler weather will get me into the twelves. the video is a slower time don't mind the camera man he's old haha. Well, as a pretty generic statement, I'd tell you 4.10's with a 28" tire, or 3.73's with a 26" tire. That would get you closer to crossing the finish line at the top of 3rd gear. You'll need some good slicks and rear suspension setup to get it to hook since your 2WD.

bone stock...i gotta change it. PO had the motor built yet kept stock cam and springs. he had bad advice from a shop that isn't open anymore. i got the truck cheap, I'm just getting through the issues now. i was thinking just a z06 cam

think i should go custom grind then? i was thinking z06 and goin up to 16psi and some more meth. my SCR is only 8.5:1 someone thought 1200$ custom slugs would help detonation but the tune was just a mile off. how do u like your cam? any before and after results?
