One to consider vegas is .4~.5 slower than a sealevel track, and almost a sec off in the summer for Na cars/trucks in the low 12 to high 11 sec bracket. You will find the quick NA times usually come from the ppl that are closer to sea level. 5500' DA will take a NA 11.0 truck to the 11.70~80 range.

What a joke tonight was.
I got my dr's on the truck. 295/50/16 28". Got down to the track and it got real windy. I got two quick passes in cutting 2.4 and 2.6 60' times . The track was so bad, there wasn't a single person hooking off the line. One of the workers said they didn't do any prepping. They wouldn't even spray water on the track for burnouts. Kind of hard to warm radials witout a burnout haha. First pass was 13.98 @ 99.5mph. Second pass was 14.xx at 97mph.
Then it started raining so they stop racing for about 15 minutes. I happened to be second in line when they paused racing. When they let us go down the track it must have still been wet. I couldn't get out of first gear without getting sideways so I just coasted down the track. Worst track I've ever seen.
Good news is that i was the fastest truck out there tonight, if that means anything. There were a couple lightenings, a kenne bell harley davidson f150, and a couple ecsb chevys. I raced a ls7 zo6 and he got me by a car length. I raced a new camaro, I got him by over a car length. Also an older nitrous camaro which was a fun race. He got me off the line but I pulled on him through first and second. It was a good race in third gear. I got him by a car length.
I wish I could have gotten some official times tonight. It started raining real hard so I left. The roads were dry up by my house so I tried to launch the truck on regular pavement and it dead hooked. It felt awesome so I'm wondering what my 60' would be on the pavement
Anyways, it was just one of those days from the time I woke up. Hopefully they have some real test and tunes here in vegas where they will prep the track.

Was still some good times lol. In the winter the DA can get within .3 or so from sea level.
