I guess we are spoiled down here in the south east in the winter.. iv been to the track when the weather was pretty cool around 45-55 degrees and the da was sayin -250 ft. And the track is like 300 above sea level. Was awesome. But during the summer its real humid and hot and da sky rockets...

So I went to the shop this moring to take the drag radials off and I thougt what the hell, lets practice launching the truck. Tire pressure was around 21psi and I launched it as hard as I could about 8 times. The radials wrinkled and hauled ***. Not a single traction issue. It seemed to take off the best if I got the converter up to 2700rpm or so and then dropped the pedal. I didn't get any wheel hop or chattering. So maybe I will have to travel to a "real" track someday and see what I can get out of it. I know it is a twelve second truck. I just can't prove it
