Yeah, may not be a EZ task. Will just have to see where I am sitting and know what I need to lose.

You should! Your truck already puts down impressive times, get it in the 10's on motor!

5200 pound lead sled over here but I just added rear hellwig swaybar so that's another 40 easy. Wish I had a single cab.

My 06 Crew Cab is 5400 with me in it. It does have 22" wheels and added stereo equipment though.

The guys under 4k pounds if you don't mind, post what you have done for weight reduction.

I plan on doing a chromoly 4-link set up. 10pt chromoly cage, aluminum half dash, 10gal alum fuel cell, no ac, no power steering, no audio, it already has manual windows an locks. I'm also doing custom chromoly A-arms up front with coil overs.
Also no door panels or carpet, and racing steering wheel.

I'm planning on taking mine to the landfill to have it weighed after my roll pan goes on.

It is for a later model. The 99 through 02 are a bit lighter, getting heavier every year. It was bought with that in mind this time. Think my 05 rc was slightly heavier than this ec. Both Ls models.
