Well it's intimidating pulling up to that line when you have never done anything like that before but FUN FUN! Bill had to coax me but I really wanted to. She prob does too just nervous

its very nerve wrecking the first time you go... but you did the hard part and you made it to the end of the track w/o red lighting or blowing up the truck.... now we teach you to do a burnout and the takeoff.... in front of brandons house hahaha

Don't feel bad about being nervous. You did good! I've been around all types of drag racing since the early 70's, everything from Top Fuel to Stock Eliminator. When I pull up to the line, and light that first light, I STILL get that adrenaline rush. Everyone says try to leave by just aplying a smoothe steady throttle application, but, man it's AWFUL hard to NOT just MASH the pedal!!! Glad to have you on the site, and you can enjoy what the hubby goes thru to satisfy the addiction!!! And believe me, it IS an addiction!!!
