WOW, What a Fuggin DISAPPOINTMENT.
I went to the track tonight to see what the ol bitch would run with the new cam and stall set-up. My previous best was a 15.53 @ 91. MY first run out I cut a .009 light ant ran a 15.009.......wtf.
Ran about 8 times and had a 15.15, 15.4, 15.03, a fewe others too, mostly in the 15 flat range. I tried different lauching techniques in 2wd and 4wd and nothing relly felt right other than just having it in 4hi and stalling it up to about 3k.
My overall best for the night was a 14.996 @ 91....so basicly that is all from my TC, the cam has show no noticable gain.... I was getting 3*of KR on that run too, and Im running 27* advance. AFR is spot on. Shifting at 6400 and 6300.
I hope it is in the tune....In my old 99 I ran a 15.15 with intake/exhaust, Nelson tune, FLT level 4 and the same TC that is in this truck....But I had weight reduction and stock rims. Tonight I ran full street wieght(5300lbs.) with my centerlines on. So technically this truck is .3 faster than the old one...
I was really hopeing for a mid 14 tonight....this sucks. Guess I'll just spray it. Actually in might be choked up byt the intake and exhaust that is on it with this cam. My "intake" is basicly an airraid heat sheild with a K&N cone filter on it. And I have stock manifold and cats with the spintech dumped. I need to make a better intake tube, I dont think the stocker is gonna cut it, and some LT's too....and nitrous...**** I just need a car..

Did you have the truck retuned after the cam instal?Did you have dyno numbers or anything like that.I would think even with the restrications from stock manifolds you would have gained a decent bit with that cam.

I retuned it using hptuners. I dont know everything I had to actually change, but im still researching to make some changes. I need to put in on a dyno and make changes there.
60' times were in the 2.1 range. In my old 99 with stock tires I cut a 2.08.

Well, I cant post it up right now, but I can tell you that my AFR is between 12.8 and 13.1. And I rund between 26 and 28* of advance...
Unfortunatly I dont think I saved any ofthe logs from the track. But me and my buddy were both getting kr in the same spot, but we never got in in our WOT tests on the street. He ran a best of 15.8, in a eclb 2wd with 24's. His mods are the same airraid setup as me and he has true dual spintech's with my tuning. I didnt think that was too bad at all, and he had a best 60' of 2.3! That pigs definatly moves out for what it is.
