I don't understand what the problem is? you ran a 15.53 before the cam and stall, and now you ran a 14.99 right? well that is 6/10th's off your ET......what more do you want?

LOL Im guessing that because my old 99 dropped a second after the stall, fully built tranny, gutted cats, and switched to a nelson tune over the hypercrap, I thought I would get more than what I got... I really was hoping for a 14.4-14.6.

After I get paid for this job Im doing right now, Im ordering a HSW kit.

3.73 gears BTW. I was thinking about going to 4.10, but its expensive... I have a hook-up at the dealership for the install, but its still spendy.

You might be able to get another .1 or .2 by going to 4.10's...but it might not justify the cost to you...

Travis, did you happen to note the DA that day? It seems Pacific is plagued with stupid high DA's, which seem to have a major performance effect, at least on my truck. BTW, I notice you are revving to 6400 rpm. Did you do anything to beef up your engine to these speeds, or are you just crossing your fingers? I'm asking because I might consider doing the same (my redline is 6100).

Its HOT as hell outside man, was the times in ur 99 during cooler weather?

My Z with the stock motor ran a 15.1 at 87ish in low 70* weather with 3K stall, AirAid MIT, ebay heat shield with K&N cone filter, no cats, cut outs and a Nelson tune so...

Ran about 8 times and had a 15.15, 15.4, 15.03, a fewe others too, mostly in the 15 flat range. I tried different lauching techniques in 2wd and 4wd and nothing relly felt right other than just having it in 4hi and stalling it up to about 3k.

My overall best for the night was a 14.996 @ 91....so basicly that is all from my TC, the cam has show no noticable gain.... I was getting 3*of KR on that run too, and Im running 27* advance. AFR is spot on. Shifting at 6400 and 6300.

I hope it is in the tune....In my old 99 I ran a 15.15 with intake/exhaust, Nelson tune, FLT level 4 and the same TC that is in this truck....But I had weight reduction and stock rims. Tonight I ran full street wieght(5300lbs.) with my centerlines on. So technically this truck is .3 faster than the old one...

I was really hopeing for a mid 14 tonight....this sucks. Guess I'll just spray it. Actually in might be choked up byt the intake and exhaust that is on it with this cam. My "intake" is basicly an airraid heat sheild with a K&N cone filter on it. And I have stock manifold and cats with the spintech dumped. I need to make a better intake tube, I dont think the stocker is gonna cut it, and some LT's too....and nitrous...**** I just need a car..

this may make you feel better

on a wend. night i made a 13.83 pass then put pulley and 216/220 in with springs and went to the track friday and ran a 13.71then 3 weeks later got it tune and went and made another pass of 13.49.so just do all the work then go get it dyno tune and be done then you will be happy
