Default wrinkle wall or radial

hey guys looking in to some track tires. just wandering if who prefers what and why. looking at either m/t et street radial 26/10.5/16 or m/t et street bias-ply wrinkle wall. my truck is an 03 rcsb 5.3 mild cam, 3000 stall circle d and have the msd 2 step launch control. just llooking for some insight onwhat yall think thanks

If its for the track only go with bi-ply slick. You will get better traction then a drag radial and it will last much longer. Only time I recommend a drag radial is when the tire will be used on the street and/or for a drag radial class.

Once you hit about 400 rwhp with a Stall, I think the slicks run alot more consistant. Just MO

Iv run both, when the radial hooks I really like them cause they are more stable and have less resistance, but the slick hooks better, is lighter, and much more forgiving on your powertrain. I will be sticking with slicks from now on.

The radial is more stable and the new M/T pro hook great. I run the old Mickey which at my lower power level (400ish) hook fine and are street friendly too... it's a bonus to not have to swap tires at the track.
