Default How big of a tire on an 04 Dodge 3500 SRW 4wd fit?

My boss at work has asked me to help him get some tires for his truck. I would like to replace the 285/70/17 with something more along the lines of a 35 or 37s. How big can I go without running much lift or is there a front spring spacer that will level the truck out and make getting a bigger tire possible? Thanks

You can run a 2" leveling kit and 35's easy, 37's should fit with 4"s of lift or so...

I have seen a guy run the 2" spacer kit and 37's no problem with stock rims.

compensating for something?
do a couple inch on the body, and a few on suspension, throw some 38's on there and be happy. it wont cost as much, and still ride somewhat smooth
