Default New transgo HD-2 kit for the 45RFE/545RFE

Hey guys,

I just thought I would pass along some good news for the Dodge guys who are looking to help there 45RFE and 545RFE transmissions. This new kit is for 99-05 trucks with the 4.7L to 5.7L, The kit corrects soft 1-2 shifts, heavy throttle long 2-3 shifts, and gives you firmer 4th and lockup too. I will be keeping these kits in stock for anyone that's interested in them. I'll keep you guys posted on the feed back I receive as well.

Thanks,
Chuck

I've had mine in for a week now, but it's been snowing so I can't test it out. I have a programmer so your not suposed to use the resistor that comes with it, however if I am not satified with how it shifts I'll try it with the resistor too.

Hey Chuck, I wonder if you had any ideas for me on an issue....

I had my tranny rebuilt and a Transgo TFOD-HD rep. kit put in it. Before the rebuild with the MP PCM it shifted at 5400-5600 every gear, now it shifts at 4900 1-2 and 4k even 2-3, or 1k rpm less than it did bone stock with the factory PCM!

Any idea what the problem is?

I would check your throttle valve cable adjustment, it sounds like the TV pressure is out of adjustment. This is going to have affect on the governor pressure sensors which tells the trans when to shift.
