Default 2003 2500hd ccsb high miles on 35's (RESULTS) ;(

I just had to do it....LOL

The truck is stock except for the borla muffler and a street tune...
That is all the way down to the factory intake and paper filter with over 240k on the clock

only 245rwhp/280rwtq...puke!!

I was not happy! But, then again it is stock with 4.10's and 35x12.5-20's
so I guess it isn't terrible.

Now, the changes are coming...
220/223 @ 114 -.600 lift
Ls7 lifters
7.4 hd pr.
ported and polished 243's, milled to 60cc
ported oil pump
new chain
asp ud pulley
texas speed longtubes
magna flow cat-back
ported stock tb.
and the 4" cold air intake.

After these results, the tbss intake with 87mm ported tb. and x-link will go on for the real world "dyno test" ...
I have heard neg. results... But, I really hope with the increase in compression and the cam swap the tbss intake will make a positive improvement, worth the investment... We shall see!!!!

Stay tuned...

That's pretty good considering the wheels, tires and mileage. Looking forward to the results.

Yeah interested in results , cool thread!

I really would love to do a couple easy mods / tune to my LQ4 /80e van with 230k on her, it runs so good , but it can always get better hahahaha!

Those are decent #'s for the combo. My 2005 CCSB on 35's with 80k and similar mods made like 15 more rwhp/tq. Keeping an eye on the continuing results.

I haven't got to the swap yet... Sorry, for the delay. I have 2 small projects to get to a stopping point first. But, this will be happening soon. Thanks for the interest...

I'm very eager to hear how this turns out! I've been debating doing a similar setup to my 2500hd.

Good luck! Hope everything moves smoothly for you.

I can't wait to get the funds to dig into my 2500HD, but I'm gonna be going less extreme LOL I will wait anxiously for the results.
