i have the same drop with my cam...stock truck intake/90mm tb....stock heads just milled. 4200-4700 i have a drop like that, and id like to see whats going on myself.
we changed timing, A/F, fuel, it all did the same thing at the same rpm.
it's depressing.

A buddy of mine put a vig stall in his z28 and it picked up .4 tenths but it dropped a 1mph on the big end, the top end loss would kill your truck, id lean a little more to the circle d, so far they have seem to do as good of better then yank, im not even shur if they do the 80e trans or not? have to look into it.

Well i take that back, i looked into his runs a little more and in the same da he picked up just over .5 almost .6, this was over a stock stall. its a bolt on 224 cam car, and no he does not lock it. he went from a best of 1.98 60 foot to a 1.67 with the swap so these verters do kick *** down low. but i wouldnt worry about it to much they are a proven stall so im shur it will work out for you. I just hate seeing a mph drop at the track, even thow they run better times i like to have the top end for the street. Im shur other peaple will claim these stalls have worked out better for them so i guess we will have to wait and see.

Here is a sheet of my dyno from friday,
Iron 383, all forged, 11.35:1, 8.9:1 DCR comp Solid Roller 235-240 @.050 .635i .635e 113-1 114ilc Morel SR lifters SB .116 wall 5/16 p-rods
Dart 205's ported by me 323 @.650i 261 @.650 exhaust
TD rockers 1.7's, comp 26926 springs, Pace setter LT's ORY with Stock 2.5" single Cat back, Factory Truck 78mm TB and Intake, stock Flex Fuel Injectors and fuel pump, KN CAI,
Stock 65e Circle D 3400 vert, 3.42 gears Big heavy 20'' wheels 32.2" tires
All pulls were in 2nd gear Non lock up on a Mustang dyno, I know its hard to read but 425rwhp and 396rwtq, i had my cam 1 degree retarded because i thought it would act too small so its getting advanced back to a 110ilc for more tq, although it does haul *** the 3400 CD vert is Hating life with 3.42 gears in a 4500lb truck= Feels like absolute Mush LOL, Dude you are making good power, these are just Big heavy HP robbing trucks, when i get my LSXRT and dual 3'' X pipe exhaust i'm going for 485-500rwhp oh btw i was getting false knock and when it takes timing out it will pull it out for about half the pull, you will see a dive in hp and tq, i think your trans or vert was F'n up the dyno readings IMO
