Dont be too dissapointed man....Dyno #'s are just that....numbers. Take it to the track and get some times....that where the real fun is, plus you may be suprised.

Good luck !

Good luck !

the only thing that bothers me is that the engine stops building power at 4200 and the cam is good till 51-5200 if some one could answer that then I would feel better. yes the truck pulls like a bat out of hell. the injecters are still under 80% duty cycle. I don't know. I think is is the exhaust work after the headers. the intake is a 4" peice of exhaust with a silicone 90o elbow with a VARA RAM filter assembley. the stainless works headers are good accept for melting the number 3 and 5 wires about every 2 weeks. it is the bend from the driverside collector that goes under the tranny and does another 90o bend to go next to the passanger side exhaust that I think is the problem it is like I said a 90o bend that I think I need to do a custom weld up of a pre madrel bent piece of 3" exhaust. Any recomendations would be appreciated.

as whippled said, all dynoes are different and if they typed the wrong numbers it can be off a lot. Black when i had my supra, it would make anywhere from 990-1100whp depending on elevation, who's dyno, tempature of the day etc..

Do you have a way to log the transmission. It could be slipping causing the loss in whp.. I know a friend had a dodge auto, it feel strong and you couldnt hear it slipping but on kill mode the auto was slipping in the upper boost.. granted it was a 12v cummins...

I know you said you had all tq management removed, But did you do it in the motor ecu and the trans ecu.. When i started playing i didnt know there was both settings... so it didnt help .... Im assuming the Ava's have the
4L80E?

Oh and im demading a nice long idle clip!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure the power range for your cam is fine. My engine man worked with comp so mine would make power to 5800rpm plus I had 1.8 rockers. Problem is my spring pressure is max for stock lifters.

were you running stainless works headers? if so what did you do to keep from melting spark plug wires on the driver side?

What where you stock numbers?

Well, having a 14 bolt 10.5" axle and having tire&wheel weights that are very heavy, ya, nothing to complain about! Grrr... I miss my 2500 Avy, lol, it's like an ashmatic smoker breathing through a straw over 4K RPM it always felt like.

I had TOG mid-length headers. When I bought mine Stainless Works wasn't available. I planed on swapping to long tubes but never did.
